Blansol has been referenced by the Algorel group for its range of PEX and multilayer pipes and for its brass and PPSU (Multipex) press-fittings.

Algorel is the leading group in the distribution of plumbing, heating and sanitary material with more than 150 associates and more than 800 points of sale in the French market.

We appreciate the trust that the management of the Algorel group has placed in our company and we hope that this alliance will help us grow in a market like the French one, which is strategic for our company.

In this sense, it should be noted that Blansol has already been working for years with around 20 associates of the Algorel group but, without a doubt, this “referencement” will mean significant support for our commitment to the French market.

Blansol has been present in France since 1984 and is a company well known to plumbing and heating professionals for having invented sliding sleeve fittings for cross-linked polyethylene pipes (Barbi fittings).

In recent years, the company has had a spectacular development in France with sales growth of 43% in 2022 (2022 versus 2021) and 63% in the first three months of 2023.

Last Wednesday we received the visit of the Minister of Economy and Finance of the Government of Cantabria, Ms. Ana Belén Álvarez, accompanied by the general director of the Cantabrian Institute of Finance (ICAF), Mr. Jesús Bulnes, at our factory in Bárcena de Cicero (Cantabria).

During this visit, we showed the Ministry and her team the different manufacturing processes for cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and multilayer pipes, as well as the new range of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) fittings that we carry out at this plant.

The general director of Blansol, José Andrés Santiago, informed the Minister of the expansion process that the company is undertaking both in the national market and in foreign markets.

In this sense, it should be noted that Blansol expects to close the 2023 financial year with a growth in its turnover of more than 20%.

We also inform the Ministry of the investment process, for an amount of more than 5 million euros, that we are undertaking in this factory consisting of the acquisition of machinery to increase our production capacity and increase our competitiveness.

Blansol has just participated in the ISH Fair, the most important event in our sector at a European level.

At the Frankfurt Fair we have presented our ranges of PEX (PEX-A and PEX-B), PERT and multilayer pipes (PEX-Al-PEX and PERT-Al-PERT) as well as our different joining systems for PEX pipes ( sliding sleeve system, press-fitting and plastic expansion ring system) and for multilayer pipes (press-fitting system and push-fit system without tools).

All these products are manufactured by Blansol in Spain at our factories in Bárcena de Cicero (Cantabria) and Palau de Plegamans (Barcelona). Our status as manufacturers allows our customers to save on their purchases and provide themselves with high quality products at very competitive prices.

What is more, at the ISH we have presented our range of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) fittings for cross-linked and multilayer polyethylene pipes that Blansol and the most important manufacturers in Europe have launched as an alternative to traditional fittings.

Although PPSU is a high-quality material, Blansol can offer its customers PPSU fittings at a much more competitive price than traditional fittings.

Blansol has just participated in the Interclima Fair that has been held in Paris between October 3 and 6.

During the Fair we have taken the opportunity to enjoy the visit of our clients and friends and we have presented our new range of PPSU Multipex fittings for multilayer pipes.

Blansol has participated in the 42nd Mostra Convegno that has taken place in Milan the last week of June.

The balance of the participation in this edition of the Mostra Convegno, which is, together with Frankfurt’s ISH the most important Fair in our sector at European level, has been, in the opinion of Blansol directors, very positive with an intense agenda and numerous professional contacts that we hope will bear fruit in the coming weeks.

Those attending our stand have shown great interest in the demonstrations carried out by our team of the different fitting systems for cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and multilayer PEX-Al-PEX and PERT-Al-PERT pipes that we produce at our Plants in Bárcena de Cicero (Cantabria) and Palau de Plegamans (Barcelona).

The professionals could check at the stand the excellent quality of the new polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) fittings that Blansol has incorporated in all its ranges of fittings as an alternative to traditional fittings and have seen the incredible savings (up to 50%) they can obtain for the same fitting with the new PPSU-made fittings compared to the traditional ones.

The last week of June Blansol will participate in the 42nd edition of the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort in Milan (Hall 18 Stand D30), one of the most important fairs in our sector worldwide.

In this Hall we will present our new products, especially our new ranges of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) fittings for cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and multilayer pipes.

PPSU is a high-quality material that allows saving up to 50% compared to traditional fittings. Customers who try this material and benefit from its excellent price rule out going back to working with traditional fittings.

The incorporation of innovative products and their continuous improvement in terms of efficiency is allowing Blansol to gain market share against its competitors, both nationally and in export markets.

The Assembly and injection technician of our Ambrosero Plant (Cantabria), David Murillo, has had the initiative to make these beautiful keyrings with our company logos.

At Industrial Blansol we are undertaking a complete renovation project in our brass fittings manufacturing plant with the aim of doubling production capacity and increasing productivity with state-of-the-art machinery.

The investment plan for the brass prodction plant amounts to 4 million euros and will be carried out throughout the current financial year 2022.

The investment plan includes actions in the cutting, graphitizing, stamping, trimming, transfer machining and bar turning sections.

Following these investments, our fittings production plant will be at the forefront of Europe in terms of technology and productivity.

An example of this investment plan is the robotic transfer island that we have just installed at our fittings plant in Palau de Plegamans (Barcelona).

With this we intend to offer our customers an alternative of quality products, manufactured in Europe and at the most competitive price possible.

After the fair and back at the office, from Industrial Blansol (Barbi) we want to thank all our clients and friends and, in general, all the people who have visited our stand.

It has been 4 days of intense work (meetings, interviews, product demostrations and first contact) and why not, also of sharing a few moments of rest with all of you.
